Greater Chicago Epilepsy 5K - Montrose Harbor Walk/Run

Saturday, May 18th, 2013 at Chicago's Montrose Harbor

This year's Chicago 5K Walk/Run will take place on Chicago's beautiful Lakefront at Montrose Harbor.  This is our third year at Chicago’s Montrose Harbor and we couldn’t be more excited!  If you choose to run, runners will once again have the opportunity to be officially timed with a Chrono-Timed Chip. All runners will receive their bib number with chip at the registration table the morning of the 5K!

• Adult walkers $25.00
• Kids ages 5 to 12 years old $15.00
• Kids under 5 are FREE

Schedule of Events

• 7:30am - Registration
• 9:00am - Walk/Run begins (walkers line up at the start line behind all runners)
• 10:30am - Refreshments & entertainment
• Noon - Festivities end

5K Run/Walk Route

The 2013 Greater Chicago Epilepsy 5K @ Montrose Harbor is a USATF Certified course. The route will take place on the path from Montrose Harbor, just northwest of the Beach House down to Bryn Mawr Avenue and it will loop back again to the starting location.

Transportation & Parking

Montrose Harbor is located at 601 W. Montrose Drive.  It is easily accessible by CTA trains and buses. For specific information, visit www.transitchicago.com. FREE Street Parking is also available along Montrose Harbor Drive from Montrose (on Simonds Drive) to Wilson. Please note, the fenced parking lot is available to the public for a fee, so wherever you would like to park, be sure to get there early enough to get a spot. Carpooling and public transportation is always highly recommended.
